IELTS Results 2025: The results for the computer-based IELTS exam are usually provided to test-takers within 3-5 days. How to Check IELTS Results
You can check your IELTS scores online or via email, depending on your registration method.
Online via IDP Portal
- Visit the IDP IELTS Candidate Login Portal
- Enter your username and password.
- Click Submit to view your results.
- Your provisional scores will appear under “Declared Result”.
- eTRF (electronic Test Report Form) can be downloaded within 2 working days.
Via Email (British Council Registrations)
- If registered through the British Council, your results will be emailed directly to your registered address.
- The email includes a link to view your scores online.
- Keep an eye on your inbox after your test date.
Test Report Form (TRF)
Your official IELTS certificate is known as the Test Report Form (TRF). You will receive either a paper copy or an electronic version (eTRF) depending on the test format you chose.
Result Availability:
- IELTS on Paper: Your TRF will be available 13 days after your test date.
- IELTS on Computer: Results are much faster, available within 1 to 5 days.
- eTRF Download: Access and download your eTRF from your portal within 1 to 8 days.
Sending to Institutions:
- You can send up to 5 TRFs to your chosen institutions for free.
- Additional TRFs can be requested, but will incur courier fees.
Enquiry on Results (EOR)
If you feel your score doesn't reflect your performance, you can request a re-mark of one or more sections of the test. This is known as an Enquiry on Results (EOR).
- You must apply for an EOR within 6 weeks of your test date.
- The process can take from the same day up to 21 days to complete.
- If your score changes, you will be issued a new TRF and the EOR fee will be refunded.
