GMAT Exam Pattern 2025
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized exam used to measure and predict a potential test taker's ability to perform in a graduate business school environment. There are three sections on the exam: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Data Insights, and no optional Analytical Writing Assessment. The test is adaptive, so the level of difficulty of their next question is based on how they answer.
GMAT Focus Edition Pattern
From 2024–2025, the GMAT was replaced by the GMAT Focus Edition, which features a shortened GMAT and does not include an Analytical Writing section by default. The Focus Edition focuses on fundamental reasoning and analysis skills that business schools covet most.
