The syllabus for the SAT Digital Test includes two essential sections: Reading & Writing and Math. Both sections are designed to degree a handful of skills which are required for college readiness. SAT Reading & Writing Section
Reading & Writing
This section tests your ability to understand, interpret, and edit a variety of texts. Passages are drawn from literature, social studies, science, and the humanities.
- Types of Text: Literary, historical, scientific, and argumentative passages.

- Vocabulary in context
- Analyzing structure and relationships in texts
- Interpreting charts and tables
- Grammar, punctuation, and improving clarity
- Note: All answers are submitted digitally. Spelling and grammar mistakes can affect your score.
SAT Math Section
This section measures your problem-solving abilities in algebra, geometry, data analysis, and basic trigonometry. The Math section is also split into adaptive modules.
