

PTE Eligibility Overview
Who Can Take PTE 2025?
Anyone planning to study, work, or immigrate abroad can take the PTE Academic examination. No strict eligibility criteria are based on nationality, background, or education. The only requirement is that candidates have to be at least 16 years old. For those between 16 and 18, parental consent is mandatory.

PTE Age Requirements
- Minimum age to take the PTE is 16 years.
- Parental consent is required for candidates under 18.
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit for taking the PTE test.
- Valid Passport: A Major identification document, must be original and unexpired. The name on the passport should match the registration details.
- Government-issued ID: In some cases, national IDs (like Aadhaar) may be accepted, but the passport is most widely accepted.
- Personal Information: Enter while registering online.
- Consent Form: Required, only for those under 18, available for download on the official PTE website.
- Documents for Special Accommodation:Medical certificate and supporting letter if demanding special accommodations.

- No Waiting Period: You can retake the PTE as soon as you receive the result from your previous test (on average within 2 hours to 7 days).
- Unlimited Attempts: RNo restriction on the number of times you can take the PTE exam, but you cannot book two test dates at once.

PTE Scores for Top Universities
Minimum PTE score requirements vary by institution and program. Most top universities demand a PTE Academic score in the range of 59–75 (CEFR B2 level) for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
